Default my collection of bows

ok, I told you that I brought back two indian bows from the Trio tribe in Suriname, part of the upper amazone region. I got 6 arrows and two letterwood bows.
Yesterday a friend invited us to a fantasyfair, the elves and orcs kind of fair.
I was amazed !!! There were not only trad bow builders, there were every kind of bowbuilders, knife builders, medieaval weaponry to clothing. I ate some really good stews and drank mead. besides from the occasional nerds there were some pretty cool people walking in anything from Lord of the rings costumes to crusader armored suits.
I was drawn to a stand from Fairbow, two guys who started making trad bows 2,5 years ago. They had a sale, a longbow for 99 dollar and I couldn't resist buying one, at least I tried. I chose a 62# longbow and they started clapping their hands an laughing.
They even asked me if I didn't want a more expensive bow from their rack.
I declined because I had a budget !!! Turned out I was their 1000th customer and I was getting the bow for free. So I had a 100 I could spend on arrows and a quiver.
I know have three new bows !!!
The longbow at 62# is not like pulling back an 82nd at 62# trust me, even getting the string on is tough.
Shooting the indian bows is great, I never tought these long arrows were going to shoot straight but they are accurate. I love the little twist at the end of the feathers making them spin. Feathers are real harpy eagle, not easy to get through customs but I managed to have the correct paperwork.
and here are the pics;

Incredible Frank.

I remember when you were new to this whole bow thing just a couple years ago.

The indian bow is a treasure you will have for the rest of your life. The latest and greatest bows, probably not.

You kill anything other than small game yet?

Lebeau,

I'm constantly going back and forth from target, 3D and one day doing the real thing.
At the moment I haven't any kills to my name and I'm not going to shoot anything I can't eat. I still think trophees are fine but they're just a bonus.
Trouble is, the good spots for bowhunting in Europe are far away from where I live.
France which is next door has very strict laws and it would cost me over 2000 euro's to get my permits and gunlicences to get bowhunting.
So I'm hoping to hunt some wild boar in croatia by the end of next year.
