Here' s the details. I' m heading up a few days early to meet with old friends. Starting tomorrow morning. Anyone that has a chance to should take the opportunity and take advantage of the convention being in the area. .................................................. ........................................ The Pope and Young Club (P&Y) will be in Madison Wisconsin amidst the greatest concentration of bow hunters and Pope and Young Club members in North America starting on May 1 for their 2003 Biennial convention.
Hosted by the Wisconsin Buck and Bear Club, the event will begin on Thursday, May 1 and run through Saturday, May 3rd at the Madison Marriott West. The event is open to the public. Attendees will enjoy a full weekend of camaraderie and activities, membership meetings, informative seminars, luncheons, receptions, displays, the famous auction and banquet dinners. There will also be two special seminars specifically designed for kids!
Some of the highlights of this year’s conference will be:
· Big Game Exhibit - honoring the very best big game animals that have been entered into the P&Y records over the last two years. On display will be 100 specimens representing all 33 categories of North American big game. It is something that cannot be missed, with several pending new world’s record representatives.
· 3-D Fun Shoot (fundraiser – new this year) – join other archers for a relaxing time spent outdoors with other convention attendees at the Deer Creek Sport and Conservation Club in Mt Vernon, WI.
· Outfitters Area – (new this year). Up to 50 outfitters will be on hand to discuss hunting adventures for next year.
-more-
· Friday night banquet – Highlighted by the presentation of the Conservation Awards and an address by U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan. Recording artist Jim Bowman will provide terrific entertainment.
· Auction – A favorite among P&Y members. Funds raised go to club projects and the Pope and Young Club/St Charles Museum. Various items and fourteen outfitted big game hunts will be up for bid!
· Award’s Dinner – Saturday, May 3rd. Presentation of the 23rd Biennium awards in recognition of the top animals and official recognition of new worlds records. Renowned bowhunter Chuck Adams will be the keynote speaker and share many humorous stories.
Registration is $20 ahead of time or $25 at the door and this includes attendance to membership meetings, seminars, reception and the auction (fee is waived for kids age 16 and under). Registration fee is not required for just attending luncheons or banquets, for which meal tickets need to be purchased in advance. To register in advance or purchase banquet tickets, please call (507) 867-4144 or go to www.pope-young.org or www.wi-buck-bear.org for more details.

interesting that your first " post" as you stated above not only was right after your ID " bowace" was created.... hmmmm...??
Dang White Raven, I am you and you are me, we are one. I' m touched that there are those who think that. I guess that anytime someone makes a first post of this thread, they think that it is you trying to pull a Zaft type scam or a defense.
