What is the longest shot that you have harvested a big game animal with useingyour bow? What is the shortest shot you
have taken and missed on? The longest shot I have taken and been successful on was 30yrds, small racked 9 pointer.
the shortest shot missed would be 15-17yrds nice 8 pt[:@]no misses on does yet, they seem easier to hit and the reason would
be because I'm not shaking as much

shot a doe at 40 in a field.
shot a spike at about 3 feet in a thick apple orchard.

7 ydsand 35yds both on deer.

I've shot several @ +/- 5yds, but the closest complete whiff was at 14yds, off the ground. Can't explain it. Quit trying to.

6 to 7 yards I'm guessing on my closest kill, 21 and 22 yards on my longest kills. I missed a doe once at 10 yards, not sure If she ducked the arrow or If I just plain and simple missed her.

The longest successful shot was 37 yards - 6 pointer my first year. The shortest miss wasstraihgt downbelow my stand the following year. For some reason my mind prcessed the exact opposite spot to aim.

longest = 28 yards
shortest = 7 yards

Shortest-5 yds.

Longest-42 yds.

Both were on whitetail deer.

Longest kill was a doe at 52 yards in a open field under perfect conditions. Took me a while to decide to take the shot, but as I said it was during perfect conditions.

Closest kill was at < 3 feet (his hind end was touching my pull rope) on a nice 9 pointer in 2004. I hit the rattling horns and he came from no where straight to my tree.

Closest miss was on a doe at about 7 yards. I was 35 feet up and shot under her, lesson learned about aiming for your exit instead of your entry.

I've made a dozen kills at 40 yards plus. The longest being a 6X6 Bull Elk at 84 yards.

The closest shot was on a 150 plus Whitetail at 3 yards. Now that was the tough shot.
