Never forget your breath...
I try and eat an apple on the way to my stand and let the juices run down my face for a cover sent.
Better to have apple breath than peppermint breath from a stick of gum
I am foolishly serious

Now, now ~ That's how rumors start!
Hey Brett, did you ever figure out who owns that big piece of property behind you so you could gain access to hunt it?
If so any good scouting yet?

Ed, I did figure it out with the help of a forum member on here...kwilson. He is moving into the area this summer. We plan on going to the people who own the property in May and asking them for permission. It would be HUGE for me as the place is absolutely loaded with deer. Thanks for asking.

Sometime you should smell the inside of your hunting hat. I keep all my archery equipment in a air tight box and still use scent elimination spray but I always sprayed the outside of the clothes once i got them on in the field. Then one day I decided to check the inside of the hat. Our hair leaves a greasy smell that I'm sure was allowing the deer to wind me. Now, if your bald, I'm not sure what your hat smells like
