Not just PETA, but all organizations like them and their millions of dollars will win over legislators and new laws to ban different types of hunting. Those organizations put in a lot of money to help advertise and pass a law to ban the use of dogs to hunt lions and bears here in Oregon. You should see how our predator population has blown up with our deer and elk herds heading for rock bottom. It all started after the year dogs were banned. I'm not saying that is the only reason, but a huge one.

Default What does this mean to you?

All really wild scenery is attractive. The true hunter, the true lover of wilderness, loves all parts of the wilderness, just as the true lover of nature loves all seasons. There is no season of the year when the country is not more attractive than the city; and there is no portion of the wilderness, where game is found, in which it is not a keen pleasure to hunt.”
- Theodore Roosevelt

Now to me it explains a true hunter and a lover of the wilderness
