A NEW HUNTER IS BORN!!
#1
Guys, I just thought I'd pass along the great news. My wife and I gave birth to our first child, a 7lb 7oz baby boy named Khalen on Wednesday, March 25 2009. Mom and baby and doing great and we just got home with him.
I have to say, there is absolutely nothing in this world that even comes close to the feelings I had when I first heard him cry. I am absolutely beside myself right now. I still can't wipe this smile off my face.
The shooting and hunting stuff will be put on the back burner for a little while, i'll be preoccupied.

Congratulations my friend!! That is sooo awesome. There isn't a buck or bull out there that you can shoot that can give you the thrill and joy that comes with your new child. Cherish every moment buddy, because it really goes by quick. It just seems like yesterday that I was the excited new father, but my daughter is in the middle of her first year of college. Sometimes I wonder how time went by so fast!
By the way, enjoy the dirty diapers!!!

Awesome man! Congrats to you and the wife!
I know the feeling you have, but it will soon be overcome by sleep deprivation, dry heaving and jealousy (mommy attention).
