Alphamax 32. 60 lbs, 30". SOOOO much easier to draw back, and its a sweet shooter!
Loaded it up with the same accessories as my previous 3 bows.
Viper microtune .010 sight (look how bright those little pins are!)
QAD fallaway

The guy claimed it was used, but I sure cant tell. The original packaging, tags, unopened books, etc were still in the box. Paid $650 for her

Good deal. A new model used is the way to go imo. You can save yourself some money. I know that warranty is a big deal but I have never had a bow break after owning it so new bows in my past just cost me $$ I shouldn't have spent.

Nice bow Josh! My partner shoots a sight with .10 pins and they are not nearly as bright as the ones on your sight. I have heard nothing but rave reviews on the AM32. I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet, but I am going to shoot both the AM32 and AM35 the next time I'm at our local Hoyt shop.
Your 82nd. is in good hands. Good Lord willing, it will be the demise of a couple spring gobblers, a few does, and one NICE Illinois buck this year!

hey brett, thanks for helping the funding of my AM If you'll look at my sight, you'll see I added 2 feet of fiber per pin, then encased them in surgical tubing.. Try it, it works awesome!

Josh, did you add longer fibers to your Viper? I see the hose extended around the sight.
I can't imagine mine needing to be brighter in a hunting situation.
I shot the AM35 at Harrisburg although I felt it had a little more noise and hand shock than the Admiral, it was smooth and a good shooter. It certainly didn't have the zip of the 82nd but that's what makes it smoother to draw. The speed does have to come from somewhere.
Nice purchase Josh, congratulations. I'm sure we'll be seeing it laying across some fine animals this fall.

I added 2' of fiber to each pin, for one reason only.. MY best stand is in the middle of a overgrown christmas tree farm from the 40's. The trees block about 50% of the light, and it typically gets dark in there 30 min before the rest of the woods.
I really liked the 82nd, but I just couldnt get my shoulder comfortable with the draw after loosing weight. I hope to put the new bow through the chrono sometime this weekend.

Josh, congrats on the new Hoyt AM32. I've been looking hard at the AM35, and my local Hoyt dealer gave me a sweet price he said he will stick to anytime I am ready to pull the trigger. Not ready at this time though, gotta set up an '08 Allegiance first.
