tribal, VERY nice work. I would give anything to have maps of my area like that. Problem is, I'm kind of map-illiterate, and I don't own a GPS. I have a hard time finding our exact pieces of property sometimes when I pan the map.

ANybody that is in PA and wants to have some aerial photos, they are free at:

I have used thise for a bunch of GIS/GPS stuff, pretty cool you just gotta find the town you live in and you can zoom in.

Tribalscream, hey that's where I hunt. Of course I'm kidding but I hunt quite a bit not far from you...in fact within arrow distance on a calm day and I can tell you for certain, there are some dandy bucks running there. Shame of it is, the highway takes it's toll on alot of the deer you hunt. Great Map, I can actually use it myself...lol.

WOW, I cant imagine doing that much work for a map. I guess it would be worth it. You got me thinking about buying a big areial photo of my property.

P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

WOW IS RIGHT! That's some pretty high-tech stuff. Great Job! Your property looks like a little piece of heaven. Excellent job!

Wow Rob, within arrow distance? You're right about the bucks. You should see the one shed we found last March, dropped fresh. Only an 8 point but mass and height like you don't normally see around here. So uh,are you within arrow distance on the big map or close-up map?

As for the work on the map...I purchased a copy of Mossy Oak Game Plan software. I thought it would be fun to use on a friend's property of 135 acres. What a waste of money! The map that they sent me was sooo blurry, it was hard to read words that I know are there! So I thought I would do my own that's all. Let me tell you, they turned out a 100% nicer than the Mossy Oak topo maps!

Hey Tribal, what software was used? I have actually been thinking about getting aerial photo/mapping software and I can't find any that really looks good to me. I found one that is good, but it doesn't show aerial photos. Thanks.
