I will take the 4# and under category any day.

While I agree with 5 shot and probably am more accurate with a heavier bow for hunting a prefer a lighter rig.

For tree stand hunting I really don' t care. I just want it to shoot great! About your question- Are you talking your bare bow weight or its rigged hunting weight. I don' t think there are many, if any, that weigh less than 4 lbs. rigged for hunting! Last year there was a question on the forum about how much your rig weighed. Pretty much everything was 5 - 7 lbs. You can really keep your weight down if you really study and compare accesories that you put on your bow. Actually bows today are very close in weight (3.25 to 4.25). The longer ATA' s are alittle heavier the lighter ones are the shorter ATA (29" to 33" ). If you want to save weight watch your accesories.
