I could care less, as long as it does'nt slow down the site. (anymore than it already is!)
They're here to make money guys, you don't have to click on them. Hell, you don't have to look at them if you don't want to.
You're easily pacified! Not me. I've put up with this friggen site malfunctioning for quite a while, along with everyone else around here!. It seens their more interested in their advertising than providing a site that functions for the users who they ultimately make the money from. They need to get their friggenpriorities straight![>:] Regardless of what some of the wusses say.[:'(]
I've already joined another site just today. I'm willing to bet borrowed money that others will be doing the same before too long. Just watch!! I will continue to monitor the situation out of curiousity, and for no other reason. This site isgoing down the tubes. It's a shame, because I've become friendly with quite a few members on here!!

This site is fast becoming the laughing stock of the internet community.

I voted for I don't give a rats ass. And I really don't. The site is slow...but it will either work out or they'll get a new geek to figure it out. I don't care if you stick Condom commericals with KY Jelly in my post. And I have a vasectomy and a steady girlfriend.

Wait a minute,...so you are saying those of us who ultimately don't care about the advertisements are wusses, but those of you crying about it and putting up polls and calling people names and stomping off to the next sandbox with your toys are not?

Can't argue with that one. I'd like to see the place speed back up, and I'm bettin' it will

Can anyone say "More Money". These guys are getting paid to advertise. The more they advertise, the more money they get.

I think the site was a lot better at one time. jmo

Maybe they will get it worked out.

I get my bow and go bowhunting. It really is a fun time. Then I come on this site and sometimes I have to click refresh twice for the page to pop up. But to my horror I discover there is an advertisement on MY POST. How dare they do that to me for I am so important. Man life is hard.

FWIW- I agree the server issues (slow loads, etc) is BEYOND annoying and I'd like to see it fixed ASAP. But it was running poorly long before these ads showed up-has been for several weeks.

In addition- poor peformance like this is usually associated with "servers cannot meet the needs of the traffic volume"- and modern/faster servers cost a bundle- hence the likely reason for the new ads. Some of the other sites I vist have "server drives" every few years to upgrade so performance is always tops and ads can be avoided.- I'd be willing to lay down $10-$20 a year for that if the ads were gone, how about the rest of you?
