For those of you who don't shoot foam or spots
What are you doing? This isn't asking do you like knitting or playing canasta thread, I am just wondering what "archery" wise there is do in these cold winter months. I can't seem to turn my "hunting" brain off more than normal this year. I mean shedding will pick up shortly, but anyone got anything fun to do?

This is planning season for next year's hunts. It takes a lot of research and logistics to make a hunt up here come off without a hitch. (but I'm punching foam too, that's part of the prep.)

I shoot in the back yard. I can easily shoot 90 yards if I desire. I also have done some scouting, pulling out Tree Stands, and getting a plan for this coming season.
I also have to catch up from getting behind during the past season[8D]

Scout(shed hunt too), shoot targets, make changes to bows, setup new bow(s), shoot squirrels, shoot birds, work on my friends' bows, make arrows, test arrows, etc.and tend to the aspects of my life that don't concern hunting.

I like to shoot them foam things, but outside of that, I mess with arrows, check out new gear, and scout. A few days ago I started to clear for a new food plot. I think that I am already going to move a few stands in known new positions here shortly.
