Is it scored? I heard he doesn't score his bucks. Also, was it his first buck taken? He's not in the contest so did he follow the guidelines of everyone else in the contest?

That is an awesome buck Todd shot... But, he hasn't and doesn't measure the bucks he shoots.
IMO who ever chose him on their team.... Tough break. If Todd measures his buck before the end of your contest I say sweet, let him in.... If not, like I said.... Tough break to those who chose him for their team. |

I won't and don't score my bucks. It will go 160+ if it really matters. It was my first and only buck of the season.

I honestly don't care - and I just think it's some-what disrespectful to the animal to put such an emphasis on a number. Scoring is very informational - and I also use the numbering as the easiest way to describe a buck. I don't look down on ANYONE for scoring animals - I have many good friends who do it all the time. Just not my thing chicken wing!

I'm with you Todd. I've never scored one and never will. The only thing I score is field dressed weight. I just am not into scores. If someone is, that's fine by me... but I don't do it either. Haven't for 50 years and see no sense in starting now. Great buck you got there. Looks like losts of tasty backstraps in that bad boy. Either he's a moose or you're a runt. LOL

Not that it really matters to me (I know my team is not in the running for 1st place)... But I will not partake in any of your games anymore if this is how you run them (inconsistent to the stated rules).... No wait... Next time I will just pick some guys off of Monster Bucks TV and have you score them via pictures.... My team will be unstoppable! |

I just look at it this way, it's for fun however what if, let's say JOE gets beat by 2" because of Todd's estimation buck when let's say that Todd's buck really scores 155" and not 160". That's not fair to JOE nor anyone else not anyone else who followed the rules set forth by the contest. I know Todd didn't enter this contest, he didn't ask to be picked but he was and in all honesty it shouldn't count. Now, to be fair to those that may have picked Todd, I say randomly draw a name out of all the bucks entered for a replacement. Or not, it's your contest. No real way to call it "fair" since Todd doesn't feel it's respectful to score a bucks antlers. |

Like I said, I am not in the running for first place anyhow so it does not effect me in any way, except for seeing a "poor" (IMO) decisionbeing made. |

Unbelieveable, some of you are crying about who may or may not win a contest with NO PRIZE that was meant to be for fun only!! I think a few of you have taken the term FANTASY to a new level. How about this, even if you dont win you can go ahead and tell yourself in the mirror that you did. This is / should be for fun. This is the exact type of crap I hate with all these new-fangled ways of trying to make hunting a competition. Use 120" for the score of my buck, then no-one can complain. I won't score it - sorry guys!

There areguys who were not picked specifically because we know they don't score there bucks. Todd Graf for instance... He doesn'tmeasure his bucks.. He shoots a great buck every year... In fact he shot a 200ish class buck this fall. I would have easily picked him for my team. I knew he doesn't measure his bucks so I didn't choose him. We all knew going into this that WKP Todd doesn't measure his bucks. Thats why so few people picked him. Notfor a lack of results over the years from him. He has been steady knocking down great bucks4 years in a row that I know of. It would be a mistake to not choose a hunter like him for your team, if in fact a score was provided. Another guy I would have liked to pick is Dan Infalt. But I knew getting a score for his buck would be very difficult. Many other realized this as well. Again, this is why no one picked him. Understand what people are saying before you bump your gums and come acrosslike an idiot ridiculing others. |

I'd like to replace the buck I entered in this years contest with a buck I shot a few years earlier, for the fantasy contest. It may help my team win!
I will submit a picture first and if that don't score high enough, I'll submit a "doctored" score sheet! I REALLY want to win, I think it is just what I need in order to feel good about myself!! [:-] |
