The prayes seem to be working, thabnks guys.
The doc told her today that she just popped her patella tendon and she should be back dancing by this weekend.

If you guys only knew how hard she has worked to make this happen. She is the only freshman on the varsity team and several months ago the coaches told them they were only going to dance 12 of the 14 at nationals. They had to earn the spot. She said then I WILL dance nationals and everyday she has worked toward that goal.
When I heard her knee had popped,I had a sick feeling in my stomach that just wouldn't go away(I can't imagine how she was feeling)
Today when the doc told her she could dance,my wife said she had a smile that couldn't be knocked off her face.
They actually do 2 dances and tonight they are supposed to be trying out for the other but she has to sit it out.Maybe the coaches will let her tryout later,if not, atleast she will be dancing 1 routine.
This is a big deal for them. The team finished runners up 2 years ago(without my daughter) and they have won just about every tournament they have been in up to this point this year so they are going to win,not just going.
Again,thanks

Good news though popping a patella tendon sounds painful. Glad she will be ok.

It was painfull, she actually did it twice. The first time she just kept going and fighting through the pain but when it happened the second time, during the same dance, she figured it was going to do more damage if she didn't stop.[&:]
I have had it happen to me and it took me a year to recover.Oh to be 14 again.
