To be honest I never wear mine[loggy bayou] when going up or down the tree, I do use the 3 pt system 2 hands and afoot or
vice versa at all times.

Think of what your family will have to go thru when they find your broken or worse body at the base of the tree.

Man I used to do the same thing............ untill I fell this past season. Guess what I am a lucky SOB and got by with nothing more than some strained muscles and tendons in the top of my foot, and a whole lot of pain. Its not worth it. It doesnt take any more time to strap on a linemans belt.
