RE: Deep Snow Tactics?

Thats a possibility, we have got around 2.5 feet here, and the deer are really pounding the standing corn. If you can hunt it, go find the ditches that they have made in the snow and hunt there. They are pretty predictable this time of the year!

Safe...check

Warm...[:@]

Deer....[:'(]

I did cut across some tracks on my way in, and i had about 30 turkeys around my tree all day, but no deer sightings. I could see far and wide and nothing came out. I might try a noon hunt on Saturday.
x2 on all of that! im not warm, not seeing deer, im safe, and this morning i almost fell out of my stand because the turkeys that i didnt know were roosting in some trees 30 yards away decided to take off from there roost and was like !@@##$ :D

also when im walking to my stand, the snow is SO LOUD. the snow is powdery, then a layer of ice the real wet snow. i might as well drive my 4 wheeler to my stand!
