Is your hunting bow 5 yrs old or older?

RE: Is your hunting bow 5 yrs old or older?
I hunted with my first bow for 14 years until I started noticing some delamination. The bow I bought to replace it is a used recurve, not sure how old it is but probably much older than 5 years. It will do for now but it's not exactly what I want. When I find the bow I really like and shoot well I'll hold onto it as long as it lasts. I'm a set it and forget it type person. Don't like tinkering with success.

I have a 2004 Reflex Excursion. Was going to see if I could buy a new bow this year but decided to just put on a new bowstring from MeanV and a new sight with smaller pins. Also going to buy a smoother release. I think that will do the trick in extending my shots out maybe 5 more yards without spending hundreds of dollars for a new bow.
My back up bow is a 98 Bear Whitetail Master---love that bow but it weighs a ton.

I shot a PSE Spirit for 5 years and a Mathews UltraMax for 8 years. I haven't kept my other bows very long.
Currently have a 07 Guardian that looks like it will be around for awhile.

This last hunting season was 13 years In a row with my same recurve. It might get retired though being I've got some limb trouble. We'll see If I can fix it, If not It was a good run!
