My 2008 buck!!
Well here is my 2008 buck and story. It was Nov. 8 here in southern wisconsin and i was going to hunt a spot that i had been saving all season. Its only about 20 acres of timber but it has about 60 acres of corn on 3 sides and hold lots of does. It was horrible weather to say the least. 25 degrees with lights snow and 20 mph wsw wind. The morning started off quick and by 730 i had seen 14 does and 3 small 1.5-2.5 year old bucks. The snow quit about 8. At 830 i saw rack trotting away about 60 yards away in the brush. I grunted several times and turned over the can 2 times. He did a 180 and came running in on a string. 10 yard broadside shot. I hit him a little back if where i had wanted but we found him pretty easily. Ended up seeing 21 deer, 4 of which were bucks. He was my 3rd and largest buck with a bow. Happy as hell with him. What ya think his age and score is? One of the cool things is i have him several times on trail cam and he is the buck i had decided i was going to hunt.
