I feel for them in my area. We got a couple inches of ice week ago and then snow dumped on top of it making it very difficult for them to dig into it. I had six out back when I left for wings tonight.

They're still coming in...this big doe came in with a yearling. I gotta get you guys a google earth shot of where my house is compared to the closed woods. It would really put things into perspective.

If you're coming in late..this is in my back yard....no woods within a 1/2 mile ...247 home subdivision...and I'm in the middle. I'm guessing they're bedding in our sub-division in a small1 acre swail about 300 yards from my house...

I took these pictures on New Years day. I live on the edge of a city of ~40,000 people. I knew they were coming at night but I never saw them during the day. She even bedded down for awhile.
