I'm looking for a youth bow that I can set up for bow fishing. Compound. Anyone know a quality brand that wont cost too much? I know they have bows out there that are set up for bow fishing but I'm just looking for the bow it's self.

I had a Parker challenger that would have been great for the task but I sold it last year.[:@] But I guess he was teaching his kid the sport so that makes it better.

I always preferred a traditional bow for fishing so that you could snap shoot it at half draw if you needed. A lot of our carp were in heavy weedbeds and you had to shoot fast sometimes. You could pick up a used recurve for pretty cheap.

Check out the browning web sight www.browning-archery.com They have a bow just for bowfishing called the barracuda. I think it's a 40# bow and is all blue.
