is that an Fred Bear instinct? Thats what I bought this year. Its a pretty nice bow. I've only had it long enough for a few hunts so no shots with it yet.

My 2006 bowtech allegiance. In my opinion this is the best hunting bow ever made. I am yet to see a new bow that has me thinkin' upgrade.

The bow on the left (they are both old Bears) is the one that I have been shooting lately after my sinus surgery. It shoot 25#'s at 28" (I draw it to 30). Doctor said I can only lift up to 20#'s in order to avoid a massive nose bleed for 3 weeks. :DThe puppy behind the bows is named BowBear. :)

I prefer a long loop but I have my draw length adjusted for it.If it doesn't fit you as is,then get it fixed. If it fits, don't worry about it.;)

I would have to agree with you. I was keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a left over 08 but now I am thinking ahead to the new Air Raid. Only time will tell the tale. Thanks for sharing the pic, I've been trying to visualize how the FUSE Axium stabilizer will look on my Black Ice and it looks good.

What stabilizer do you have on there? I have been looking at getting another one for my bow and the reason I am asking is we have the same set up basically? Also what string stabilizer would you recommend or do you have on yours Dozen?

Dozen Arrows 01-17-2009 04:00 PM

RE: pics of your bows

It's just a 4" HiTek, nothing fancy. I am looking to get a better one in the FUSE Axium. I have a TruGlo sight also but mine is the single pin Range Rover.

Browning Mirage. I don't know what year it is. It's old though.
I bought it off my dad's buddy for $50. He had bought a 2008 Parker Trailblazer and I had out grown my Parker Challenger. So instead to buying a brand new bow I got this one. All he had to say about it was "The thing will kill deer."
I've killed 3 since I got it last year.

I took everything off my Challenger and put it on to this Mirage so all I had to do was buy arrows and arrow heads for it.

It has a 3D Rover arrow rest and Montana Black Gold sights.

I shoot Easton ST Epic arrows with 100 grain Slick Trick broad heads. I have it set at 65 pounds but I need to get it bumped up sometime and sight in all 4 pins. I only have 2 sighted in.

this is my 08 Diamond Marquis.......I originally went to buy the black ice and the dealer put this in my hands and it was a done deal.

I love the Marquis and am actually missing it. I may add an 09 to the collection. We'll see as I am ordering the Air Raid.

09 Bowtech Admiral:

Wait a second u have a limb driver on ur admiral????? does it work right? because i talked to vapor trails and the told me it would not work properly on the admiral. he told me they are working on a bracket to attach it to the end of the limb where the is enough flex. he also told me he would send me some picture of how he attached one using 3m tape.

Works perfectly. Someone one said they wouldn't work on a General either but I had zero issues with it on the General as well. You only need to get the bracket as close to the cam as you can and still allow cam clearance when she rolls over. The LD comes up fully. No issues.

If one had issues, which there are none, you can tie it off on the limb as well. I've seen that done but don't see the reason.

I like the Fuse, it serves it's purpose. I bought it in 06 for my Ally but since moved my Super Stix to the Alley. I moved the Fuse around on several bows and I added the Octane to the 82nd. The color combo went nice with the Ross Carnivore.

I set several Limb Drivers up on the General and a few on the Admirals as well.

No problems here!;)

Yep Slick Tricks are great!

It's amazing how much difference in a Bow a little thing like a String Suppressor can make;)
