Just wanted to see how things are shaping up in NC for "allowing the use of crossbows, without permit, anytime bow and arrows are legal weapons." How did you guys vote?
This is not intended to be an argument, merely a way to get a feel for whether H28 will pass or not.

I only voted on 4 proposals. I voted "no" on the proposal of losing one week to ML season. I commented that today's MLs have such long ranges that if they wanted to increase the season by one week they should take a week from gun season instead of bow season. I voted "yes" to the (2)proposals of allowing bow hunting on Sundays for private and game lands and I voted "no" to removing the "daily" bag limit on deer.

I am not quite sure how I feel about that one (H28). I have nothing against crossbows but haven't made up my mind if I would think they should or should not be legal anytime a bow is legal? I am not very informed on crossbows because I have never wanted to have one or hunt with one but don't they have ranges of 100+ yards or am I mistaken. If they do have this kind of range then I might be more inclined to include them when ML or gun season is in but maybe not during the bow only season. I really don't know why you have to have a special permit to hunt with one here in NC anyway especially during gun season, but like I said earlier I am not very informed on crossbows.
