Default Pretty Cool Video

This is a video of a tame deer that comes into my buddies house every night,

Here is the story, My friend and his family has moved into a new house and they bought 100 acres of land behind it, and they were walking around in their field one day and came upon a fawn, guessing the mother got hit by a car, so they picked the deer up and brought in the house, they bottle fed it and fed it for the first couple of months it was alive, put a orange collar on it to know that it is him. It comes into the house every night, they give it food and water and send it back out pretty cool thing to see with a wild deer tame to humans, now i know what you are thinking, it is tame but it never leaves there back yard and if it does it goes about 4 or 5 tree lines in and lays down for the day.

Thats a cool video. Is it a buck or a doe, I couldn't really tell from the video.

Thats neat that they helped that fawn out, but is that legal? I mean since they collared it.

Their assumption was probably unfounded as a fawn may lay by itself for sometime while the mother is just out of sight of the humans. Too often we think the doe is dead but she may not be.

That said, in PA it'd be illegal without getting the PGC involved. I'd love a pet deer, I understand they are house trainable.

I hope that collar stretches if the deer is let out of the house. Because if the deer dissapears for a while and gets bigger that collar will get real tight and may kill it. The collar also makes it an easy target for someone.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a pet deer though.
