Thanks for the compliments and comments.

The tongue shouldn't scare you guys too much. It's an actual cast from a real deer tongue. The plastic tongues that you buy out of taxidermy cataloges just don't cut it.
The idea for a pedestal mount was mine, and I let my taxidermist use his creative mind to put it together. I trust him to do his best. We could have built the scene up more, and may do so in the future. Note that the alder brush in the scene is a piece of alder brush I watched the buck tear up only minutes before he checked out.
