Yes I did, took a decent buck and a doe. Got within range of two mature bucks but did not have a shot opportunity. First time in all my years hunting I had a mature buck within bow range, and had two of them in one year. So I think I am on the right track in terms of my hunting development.

It was the best year hunting for me! Beating a dead horse but I took my doe opening day and buck opening evening......saved all kinds of vacation time!

No, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy myself.
I was fractions of inches and miliseconds away on a couple occasions that would have made it a year that I'd still be smiling over.

My sons both took their first deer (same woods where I took my first deer, that was cool) my dad took a nice doe and my uncle took a deer in his final season hunting. I took my largest deer with a bow and also one of my smallest. All in all, it was a good season. My gun season ended w/o even firing a shot, that could have been better.[8D]

Man, you're just a baby. Wait until you get into your 60's and then you'll reallyappreciate everytime you can shimmy up that tree with a climber. LOL
