I'd guess I'm pushing these 560 grain arrows maybe 255 at 29.5" and 69#. It's too cold to get the chrono out right now but it's a bit slower than my Old Glory with a 500 grain shaft that is shooting 265 fps.

27" DL and 69 LB with a 345 grain arrow I got 290 fps. I don't hunt with those arrows but that shows what it'scapable of.

I've downed two does with mine this year, love it. Word of caution, with the lightweight and short a-a its real easy to cant and the POI will be way off. It took me alot of practice but I'm accurate out to 60 yds with it now.

I like the DXT as well. I did shoot one and it felt very similar to my Diamond Black Ice. The bows are very similar in size and performance butI like the Black Ice grip much better. I don't like the fat grip the DXT comes with. Check out the 2009 Black Ice, it comes with a nice string suppressor now as well.

Thanks guys! That really does help a lot! Ill probably be going back within the month. Ill probably shoot the DXT and AM32 side by side once again, but if I feel the same way about the DXT that I did the other day, i just might become the newest Mathews guy haha!

About the speed question, those speeds you all mentioned would be more than perfect for me. My PSE FirestormI believe is shooting 224 FPS. My girlfriends Parker Buckshot is shooting that same speed!!! (How embarrassing huh). I would absolutely love to be able to set 1 pin for up to a good amount of yards. Thanks again guys, and if you have any more info, im more than happy to read it!

Had a FX for many years, Got the DXT 27.5 draw this year. Shoot better than several others I tried. and as some said if it feels right go with it. All the bows are good quality bows and once you get use to and accustomed to it you will like any of them. Personally, I shot a doe and my best bow buck to date(11pt 125p&y) this year with my DXT, No amount of money could buy this bow from me now.

Im likin the sound of that. Ive been reading that Elite makes good bows, so i might shoot a few to see. But its gonna have to take on heck of a nice bow to beat out the DXT.

Dad just picked up a DXT... It's an awesome bow.. it has NO hand shock and shoots great

Again...i take back my word...looks as if the DXT has done it now. I went and shot it again and couldnt help but love everything about the bow. I shot the Reezen and liked it except for the really hard draw. Also shot a Bowtech...hated it, Alphamax...didnt like it as much as the DXT, but was a nice bow, X-Force...didnt like the grip....Oneida for the heck of it...VERY smooth but LOUD!!

The DXT is one hard bow to beat, i dont care what anyone says.

I shot a fx for many years and just got a dxt this last year and love it. I had a little bit of a problem finding the right stabilizer because the bow is so short you have to keep it from wanting to tipfrom side to side but became easy with the right stabilizer.
