This year bowhunting, last hunt of the season. No deer that hunt but the skyline was beautiful.

And this pic is cool with the velvet and him eating...got tons of pics throughout the summer of him....come Oct. he vanished.

This is one brings back memories of one of the best times I have ever had...my successful NM elk bowhunt this Sept in the Gila Area and I lived in the woods for 14 days solid..lost 12 lbs of weight hiking and hunting. I could have lived another couple of months like this...no phone, no bills, free water, free wood to burn for heat and cooking, PEACE and Quiet, and no hassles of the everyday world. The way it ought to be.
