Fantasy Team Update
 

I live such an exciting life that on New Year's Day, I'm sitting at the computer trying to update the stats for the Fantasy Team contest. I Don't have any bucks recorded for the following members, and since I don't know whether or not they are all in the regular contest, I'll just list the ones who have not been scored and if you have, please post it on here so I can make some more progress.

I know for a fact that WKP Todd killed a buck. But from what I have heard, he never scores his bucks.

Also TeamHB who is Jeff Simpson from Heartland Bowhunter killed at least 1 buck this season. Not sure if he is in the regular contest or not.

Well, I guess if no one can get their scores, we can't give the people who picked them credit for the contest. I don't know what else to say. I pulled all the scores off the score sheet for those in the regular contest and I guess that's all I can do. But thanks for letting me know.

There are 8 teams in the running for 1st place. So it's important to get ALL the scores in. I'll send PM's to HB and WKP and see if they reply.

If they are not in the contest, should they count? The contest required first bucks to be counted, those outside the contest can count their biggest assuming they took more than one. I chose my team as contest members only.

Since that wasn't part of the rules, I guess we'd have to trust them. I sent 3 emails to people last night asking for the scores of their FIRST bow buck. That's what happens when something like this is thrown together and put up.

Don't worry about it. Cool thing you are doing. No matter how in depth the rules become, there will always be hairsplitters. Im anxious to see how high the numbers are for the top dream team.:)

I don't know how I got on the list but unless my rifle buck that was shot at bow range counts then someone got a big goose-egg for putting me on their team. Our season ended 2 days ago.[&o] I got too busy chasing brown bears to deal with deer this year. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!:D

From the looks of the teams in the running, no team has scored 5 bucks, I'm just assuming though. And unless someone has Hunteropel on their team, I would say my chances are pretty good at being in the top spot :D.

Ive been wrong before, though;). I still have a trip planned next weekend and if I score buck, I could gaurantee a win barring any others taken [8D].

AFHunter, this contest has been alot of fun and I appreciate you taking the time to do it. Im looking forward to the results.

Knowing that you are in the running and being able to see who I don't have scores on should give you a little jilt to remember who on your team doesn't have a buck reported yet.

Very interesting that other teams are 5 for 5. I thought for sure if a team scored 5 bucks they would run away w this contest. The 4 bucks on my team are all in the top 10 for the contest, though. That definitely helps;)

When everyone's season is over...I was told that one state doesn't end til Feb 1.

Actually I think we have seasons until the 15th of Feb, at least that's what we've been told and run the Bow Contest til Feb 15th.

All righty then....Feb 15 it is. I found a buck entry I missed earlier and have to add Hatchet Jack to those who are in the running for the title. While I'm at it, I noticed that a certain member of HNI was showing off a rock he "won". Yet, I haven't heard a word from him about attending the Tuff Bow contest to prove his worth.....makes one wonder....:)

LOL AF H. I have a Pronghorn hunt in Aug, I'm headed back to IL in Nov, I'll defend my rock at the NE gtg and that about sums up 09 or I won't stay married.[&:]:D

I don't remember all of my team, but I THINK I had Shed33 on there, so if that is the case I'm 4 of 5 and if shed would pull through should be in good shape!

Yeah, it will get interesting if he lays one down. I'm not 100% sure I picked him, there is one guy that I can't remember if I added or not and if so, one of the other heavy hitters got bumped, just don't remember which one!

Boy, you people who can't remember who you picked! Jeez! Here I sit with a photographic memory and remember every team. Of course, the fact that I put them all on a spreadsheet helps...:)
