Countdown to the New Year
We're just a few hours (in the big scheme of things)away from 2009 and it's time to reflect on the past year and make plans for the new year...
This past year was my second season on my new property, I've learned that no matter how much recon and patterning I did, the final word is still with the deer as to what they do. I've had many hunts ruined by factors beyond my control, but am happy with the time I got to spend outdoors.
For the new year:
1. Finally giving up the cancer sticks;
2. Going to make the Tuff Bow Contest a success;
3. Will have the property cleaned up and more inviting for deer to live here instead of using it as a pass through;
4. Will thank the Lord daily for all the blessings I do have instead of dwelling on what didn't happen or I don't have; and
5. Will continue to cherish the friendships I've made on here and ignore those who continuously act like an irritated sphincter.
Now that I've laid out mine, what are your reflections on 2008 and what are your plans for 2009?

1. lose weight
2. be more mobile (I'll be able to do that now
)
3. Pray for AF to quit smoking
4. try and get more hunting property hooked up
5. get Andrew his first kills under his belt

1. Think I may start the cancer sticks, never tryed them.
2. Let my proprty grow up real thick and nasty so it's more inviting for deer to live in.
3. Countinue to thank the LORD as I allways have.
