This brings tears to my eyes. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 18, I'm now 38, I lost my father 2 weeks ago, hart attack....Proud to admit I was a MAMA's BOY!!!! Prayers will be said by me for your mother.
My advice to you, is to be strong, remain calm, don't let her see you get weak this alone can't help, it's OK to cry as much as you like or need to, be there for her as much as you can, but also you still need to live your life, if she sees your daily routine change and we know MOMs sense stuff like that she will question you. Have faith in GOD, you don't have to say the traditional prayers, you can talk to him just like you would anyone, he listens, and he will guide you and your family in the right direction.
I'm not sure what religion you are, I'm Roman Catholic, here isa Catholic prayer for your Mom:
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant (N...)
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he (she) may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
May you and your family enjoy the Holiday Season

Brian,I pray for your mom. May God give her the help that she needs. I lost my mother to cancer 8 years ago. There's not a single day that goes by that I don't think of my mother, for one reason or the other. My mom LOVED Christmas so much! It makes it hard to enjoy the Holidays when she's not here. Every time I hear a Christmas song, I think of her.
