Seriously, I think you really need to put some thought into this. If you are serious, I think you need to weigh a lot of options. In all honesty, if I were a single guy with nothing to lose, or if the wife were willing, I'd be living in or around Missoula, Montana. I love that area, and there is a little civilization, but you can get away into the mountains, into the Bitterroot Wilderness Area, the Lolo Nat. Forest, etc. But if this is a spur of the moment decision, take a little time to think more seriously about all aspects from cost of living, job status, etc.
