Good grief. I use just about everything. [8D]
I'll probably have to vote hang on.
I've probably hunted out of hang on's this year more than anything else. My go to stand behind my house is a hang on. I hunted quiet a few mornings in it this year. I hunted a lot earlier in the year from a hang on, on a different farm. All hung previously. Not setup and take down. Next year will be the 3rd year on the stand behind the house.
I also have a ladder stand behind my house, I usually put guests in. I hunted out of it too. I just hung it this year. It's only 60yds away from the Hang on I hunt out of.
When I hunt out of climber, 90% of the time it's left at the base of the tree. I've hunted out of a climber a lot here lately.
Here's something cool, I just thought about.
I've killed deer out of a ladder stand, hang on, climber, and off the ground this year. Cool eh?

I use about every kind of stand there is, hangon, climber, metal and wood ladder stands. I reckon a climber is my favorite its eas ly moved from tree to tree and faster to set up. Its hard to get any more comfortable than setting in my summit or api.

Climber.
Confession: If not for the fear of theft....I'd have several hang-ons spread around. I know better, though.
I also feel that the fact I HAVE to remain mobile HELPS me. I rarely hunt the same tree 2X in a season. The curse is probably a blessing.

Most of the time I use hang ons that have been set up already. I also use a climber as well...but not as much as I used to. Depends on where I amhunting.

I use both, but really like using a climber most of the time. Short sits, I can use anything, but if the rut is getting wound up and I may be in stand all day, I'll take the comfort of my climber any day over my hang ons.
