Default pics from my frozen hunting trip

Damn, it was cold! I was in below 0 temps most of the time. The coldest night got to around -25. Everything liquid had to be thawed out before I could use it. I have blankets frozen to the wall of my camper. My rugs are froze to the floor. The deer were very hard to find. Access to deeper parts of the woods was tough because of deep snow. The cold finally got the best of me and I headed homeI did get some neat pictures that I want to share with everyone.

A new bird has arrived to northern Wis. Turkeys!

Some frozen scenery

A partridge was here. They were so cold that they didn't want to fly. They would sit in a tree all puffed out.

The ravens didn't seem to mind the cold

Me, after a 10 below scouting run.

How does your beard collect so much ice? Moisture from breathing or do you rub snow in it for a picture? lol

I pushed pretty hard on that hike. It was getting late and I wanted to check out a tip from a bobcat hunter about a beaver pond with a lot of deer activity.

Thats some good stuff right there Todd, very cool! Sounds like you had a great hunt, I love stomping around in the snow, there's nothing like hunting in it!
