I hear ya..people act like they are the end all to big game hunting. Kind of like being forced to eat turkey and dressing every day. Ilove turkey, but need a little variety in my life. Mountains near Siver City, NM for me.

If offered a seven figure salary and be able to work/live anywhere I wanted. I would stay right where I am in Southeast MO. I would keep the land I have nowbut addthe 260 acres that borders me. It's beautiful habitat for deer and turkey. Then, I would head about 15 miles across the Mississippi River to Southern IL and buy about 300 acres of prime whitetail territory. Then, I would jump across the Ohio River to Western KY and pick up 300 or so acres there.
