Hey All.....During an unrelated hospital visit last month a cancerous tumor was found on my sisters thyroid. She is having surgery tomorrow to have her whole thyroid and some lymph nodes removed. While there's a high success rate with this type of surgery I thought it couldn't hurt to have a few extra prayers said for her.

My sisters surgery went well. She should be out of recovery shortly. After an overnight stay she'll go home and return in a few days for a post-op check up.

Prayers for your sister, and YES, there is a relatively high success rate and a rather short recovery in most cases. Wish her luck and let her know someone higher will certainly be watching over her!!!!
