I still wish I would of had the net Scott from a technical stand point for sure.
Since HNI I have been able to correct quite a few issues
due to a great bunch of people here. I have one major one left which concerns my short draw
length you seen at the GTG. Well with that bow the best they can do is get me to 27 1/2 DL
so I am hoping to save for a bow by next season. If I had not chatted with you (Even though I thought
something wasnt right) I would of just said hell with it.

Jeff it is Fraley and what the heck you on about?

You know, I started bowhunting in the mid 70's. My first bow was a 40# (Pa's minimum) Bear Kodiak recurve if I remember correctly.I also shot fiberglass shafts. Back then, if you had a pocket calculator in school you were a big shot!Everything I have learned about hunting over these many years, I've learned on my own via trial and error. ILOVED this and wouldn't trade it for anything!!Also, much of it was learned by reading as well.
Now today we have the computer. I've only been using one since 2002, but what I've learned about bowhunting inthe last 7 yearsfar exceeds what I learned in the previous how ever many years. Also, what I've learned in just the last few years here on HNI is well beyond what I ever expected! The computer is an AWESOME learning tool, there is no doubt, but at the same time it doesn't equal the time spent in the woods seeing/watching, and pursuing the deer we hunt. There is NO better teacher than hands-on experience. You can take that to the bank!

disclaimer: this post not directed at any member directly. It is my opinion from visiting several differnt sites.

Problem with the internet is you really don't know what the guy who is telling you what to do really knows what the heck he is talking about. You could waste a lot of time listening to someone that doesn't know your area. Or getting info from someone that thinks they know everything about every thing.

I've seen some good info on sites but some of the stuff just makes me shake my head.

I started Turkey hunting after the internet came about, and was able to pick up some very good information from a couple guys impaticular.

Man, I tell ya what is invaluable. And thats someone that knows what they are doing. Someone that can watch you and give you pointers. Instead of trying every form known to man.
Good advice from another forum. Falls in line with straightening the learning curve via any means available.
