Hey goherd.....I mean ....congrats and all on your first deer (sincerely)....but based on the wound in this pic.....I'm trying to figure out why you're coming onto a thread JUST to berate MY shot placement? What gives?

I could be mistaken but I think this is some else gmmat, not goherd!!

My mistake on the identity. Still doesn't answer why you come in here and question shot placement (after I'd shown you the photos) and then call ME a tool?

Classic!

LMAO.

That hunter DID place the arrow where he was aiming, regardless of his shot choice. Just sayin.

Jeff- I've fired the rocky mtn snypers (same design IMO) into 6 animals, and the only one that WASNT a passthrew was a deer I hit in the spine.

2 antelope, 35 & 42 yrds, both passthrews
4 deer, 8 to 30 yrds 3 passthrews, one spine...

It really clould be shot location (especially if you hit the offside shoulder), the only deer I hit in the shoulder (muzzy head) I didnt get a passthrew...

also, why does it matter so much? Just outta curiosity what is your the ratio of passthrew to not?
