It took me litterly 5 years. Bowhunting wasn't that hot in the late 70's early 80's. So we or I didn't hit it very hard. More like screwing around mostly.

Wow, I guess I'll take home the trophy. It took me 10 years to get my first bowkill. :(I started in 1987 (was in jr high) and then got into cars, girls, etc. I still got a permit and hunted some, but didnt start bowhunting seriously until 1995. Killed my first in 1997, stacked them up ever since then.;)

I killed a doe on my very first bowhunt.

2 years and counting...mabey ill hunt the deer and not the girls next year.
