RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
Jeff is that really an issue? With all the money being pissed away by the AIG's of the world, I'm not too worried about how P&Y launders my $30.:D

I was just curious. It's easy to say how much they do....but I'm wondering if it can be backed up with accounting?
Doesn't affect me...;) |

RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
Not a big deal, Scott......but wouldn't it be cool to see where ALL the money was going? Imagine how you'd feel if you found out you sent them $35 to register a buck and the regional director just bought his wife one of them diamond Victoria's secret bras with the P&Y emblem on it.:D

RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
Jealousy and envy are simply poor human traits. It transcends hunting andwill rear it's ugly head in other aspects of that persons life. You see, it's not the big buck nor the sweet hunting location or anything elsefor that matter, it'sthe person who's envious that's the problem, and until they face and understandthe real reason why they are unhappy as aperson, it will never end. If you're not happy and content with yourself and who you are as a person you will always have jealousy of others.
I'm not trying to get too "Freudian" here but folks are missing the point....It has nothing to do with big bucks on a hunting web site. These folksare going tobe envious in every aspect of their life and until they deal with it, it will never stop. We're just seeing it here.;) |
RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
The only man I envy is he who holds truer to his character, integrity, and word as a manthan I can. The only man I hate is he who had no intention of any of that.

ORIGINAL: RTA47 Congrats: to all who have taken a deer this season Monster buck, Med size buck, Small buck, or doe`s.:) |
RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
I will admit it, I'm jealous of everyone on this site! I want to hunt exactly where each and everyone of you hunt! :DMoreover, I am going to start flogging all your dumb arses if ya'll don't take advantage of my elk mountains-ya know, you guys own them too!
If you cannot share, then there'sreally no place in hunting for you. For me, it's that simple. I will congratulation every successful hunter-period. I will also encourage them to take their game to the highest level and beyond (that's just me). |
RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
Why does the success of another hunter so many times turn into a behind the back flogging? When local guys are successful, they are night hunters, poachers, cheats.... sorry - what is hunting is being lost, look no further than the lovers of Horn Porn to prove it |
RE: Antler envy and hunter hate.
To me its like this.. people should not care what you choose to kill, whether it be a mature buck, a mature doe, young doe, young buck, whatever. Just because your fellow forum member shoots a young deer, dont shun the fact, because there was a reason. QDM has to be something that is wanted by the hunter, some people just don't have the time, opportunity, or chance that others have. When it comes to bowhunting, or hunting in general, there are soooooo many variables.. location in the country, location in the state, public land vs. private land, experience levels, age, state laws, and I could go on and on. The bottom line is, in my mind anyways, everyone who visits these forums flock here for a reason.. mostly comradery(sp?) and the desire to gain information and better their selves as hunters. Is there any reason someone seeking all of our knowledge and comradery should be shunned based on what they kill? My 2 cents.
