I quit baseball as a kid cause it cut into my fishing time.
I neverconsidered playingfootball cause it would cut into my bow hunting.

I don't shoot my guns or reload as much anymore, but I can't really pin that to archery or hunting rather more towards life itself. But I'm working on making more time. [8D]

I definitely don't small game, fall turkey, or predator hunt as much as I'd like due to archery season. I also don't go fishing in the fall. In the coming years, I want to make more time tham I have been doing to pursue these enjoyments.

I have always been crazy for hunting, it got put on the back burner during the years that I was bodybuilding/powerlifting.....but I still managed to hunt every weekend, just didn't take it seriously, now that Im a daddy, fat, old, and bald....it's my passion!!

I have had 6 hobbies/passtimes in my life.

1. Women
2. Pot
3. Alcohol
4. Hunting
5. Fishing
6. Guitar

I gave up2 and3 when I made a commitment to number 1. I took up 6 after years of doing 4 and 5. I went back to 4 and started bowhunting. Now I find very little time for 5 and 6. My number 1 will always have my undivided attention. Without her I would be dead from 1, 2, and 3.

My recreational sports playing has gone way down since i became serious about hunting. Also, i NEVER party anymore because i have to get up early for hunting and its not possible. Its all worth it though.

Thats funny!
I discovered 1&3 about the same time. Both have almost killed me. I enjoy each in moderation now. #2 never interested me. I believe #4&5 have always helped me keep my sanity in an otherwise crazy world. And #6 well, could you play us some rock and roll?

Magic, I have covered everything from Black Sabbath to ZZ Top to AC DC to Eric Clapton to Buddy Guy to Stevie Ray. I have probably lost more of it than I will ever get back.[8D] Those days are some fun(ny) memories. I still have my guitar, amp, effects pedals and such. I just don't play near as much anymore.

I gave up all my sports due to hunting and fishing over the years. Football was the first to go, deer season was too important. baseball was next as it cut into spring turkey and fishing too much. I gave up basketball 2 years ago last, because again...it cut into bowhunting and waterfowl.

I enjoy hunting first and foremost. Fishing is an offseason hobby. Bowfishing is growing on me quick, and ranks near the top with hunting.

So yeah, Ive given up certain types of hunting and all sports to hunt the way I do...wouldn't change a thing.

my two boys go with me hunting now, she has just come to realize when it is hunting season im going,
these days she never says nothing,but she never gives nothing during season either
