    In the may/June issue of Petersen' s Bowhunting it said that the aarow should go about 3/4" to 1" past the rest.

    I cut mine 1/2 inch past the end of the rest. It works well for me.

    My arrow usually measure out approximately 3/4 to 1 inch past the launcher prongs of my rest.
