as has been said, if he broke it runnin to his death then sure fix it if you want, but if you killed the deer and it had broken tines before hand then no way would i even think about having a fake made. you were happy with that deer when you shot or you shoudnt have shot. dnt go second guessing. sue it may look prettier with all tines fixed but would it still be the same buck that you remember that day when you look at it? not imho.
