Here's how it went down.. He came down the trail at dusk and I stopped him at 20 yards with a grunt. Took him from my treestand. Arrow hit rib and deflected out opposite side rear leg. I saw him kick after I hit him so I thought it was a good shot. I tracked him after an hour with my 5 year old son and then my uncle showed up to help. Not much of a blood trail but we found him about 150 yards away.
I have been telling my son he is the best tracker I know and he is still smileing about finding him..
Still really PUMPED UP about this one..
Thanks all..

Where in RI are you? My parents have a house in South Kingston and I've sen some bruisers there, but not where I can hunt.
