I think he'll be fine. Seen lots worse injuries that were overcome. And who ever said that's why they hate gun hunting because of some people taking poor shots, poor shots are taken with bows just as often. No matter what weapon we choose we are all hunters. I hate the I'm a better, more ethical, holier than thou attitude that some who use a bow take toward others who hunt differently than they do. Off my soapbox now.

Yep this is what I hate about gun hunting. Some hunters shoot at anything no matter if they have a good shot or not.
yeah, bowhunters NEVER do that....
