Hey guys- I got this little stud on my trail camera last week and wanted to see how old you thought he was. I'm almost certain he is a 1.5 as I called him into within three steps during the peak of the rut and he just acted foolishly like a 1 year would. Still, he has an impressive rack for a 1.5 for my area and I just wanted to get some more opinions to make sure he's actually not a subordinate 2 year old. Thanks.

If he's one and a half he's a STUD. Rack makes me lean towards a 2.5 but body definately characterizes a 1.5. Im unsure.

A 1.5 year old, I'd bet on it. He's going to be a monster in a couple of years. Bucks with this potential can hit 150" + at just 3.5 years of age.

I'd guess 2.5,because of the long nose.

Thanks for the input guys. I have another pic of him that I'll post tomorrow (I'm on a dial computer here at home) that gives a side shot of his face that might give us a little better idea. Just the way he was acting when I saw him from stand leads me to believe he's a 1 year old. I called him to within three steps of the blind and he circled the blind several times before taking off down the ridge and coming back again and circled around the blind again.
