IS there ever a time where something bad happens over and over and you say screw it and hang the bow or gun up for the season.

After my ladder getting stolen the dogs spooked the 11 point i drawed down on. The dope heads trying to run me off. I just got to the point where i said screw it and am to the point where even thinking about going hunting anymore then year gives me a headache. Has this happen to you.
Heck even after the stand and everything else now i head to give the 95 Chevy i bought back and i can not use my new truck till Feb when i go from state min. Insurance to full coverage. It is just all a little to much.

I plan to try and glass some fields tomorrow and see if i can find a nice one to shoot. But a couple days of that and i am done

NO!!! If I did it would'nt last a day and I would drive myself crazy thinking of all the deer that may be under my tree. It only takes a few seconds, or a hot doe to make the worst season ever quickly become the best season ever.

Where do you hunt??....I wanna come and get that big boy thats gonna show up next week.

Can I have your gear??

Suck it up and quit the self centered "oh sucks to be me crap I quit"

Sounds like I'm being mean but if I quit when things got rough I never would have made P&Y book.....

....SO GET BACK OUT THERE AND GET IN IN THE BOOKS!!!

....but if you do quit, I still want your gear....

Putting in the time is just part of hunting. The more time you spend doing it the more opportunities come. Good people are the real trophys in a hunters life.

Don't forget your roots when things do come a little easier.

dont give up buddy. I am having a frustrating season myself. Just last night someones dog's left the holiday party and chased of the deer that were coming in, 2 nice bucks too. I have had countless things happen to me this season, some id rather not think about.

You just got to sit back and look at the horizen and enjoy the fact your alive and able to be hunting. A few weeks ago i was getting so bent out of shape and my dad talked to me and told me to relax and enjoy the woods. My season so far as been tough but i have seen more and done more then many ever will.

Just enjoy what time you have to hunt.

Your rights. I guest all the good luck i had this year I had to have a run of bad luck to set off the good. It can only ge better from here out. I know a issue i had was were to hunt i plan to do alot of scouting after season ends Even if i do not hunt i do not want to scout when someone might be hunting and i might ruin there day

I've hunted at least one afternoon (usually both) every weekend since Sept. 6th
Prior to this afternoon I'd only had 1 spike step into range.
I saw 3 does today and one locked up out of range, but I sure thought something was going to happen.
Way I see it, the deer can wander where ever and when ever they they want, eventually it might might be in range when I'm there.
I'm not quitting. If I quit they win.
