Default RE: What type of crossbow should I get

I have a crossbow with split limbs and multiple cables and I would NOT recomend that type to anyone, sure the cams make it easy to draw but the cables wear on the string guard pretty quickly. It doesn' t matter much what brand you buy but get a good brand name like Horton or excalibur and look for a single string!!! Use a bolt long enough that the broadhead sticks out past the deck but not past your foot guard. Mechanical/ fixed blades is your call I am thinking of switching to mechanicals just because I am curious. Something interresting to consider is plastic fletching that is coloured blue. Not many blue leaves out there so your bolt is easier to find.
