Rage pass through poll.

RE: Rage pass through poll.
I am 4 for 4 on animals I shot at with Rage 2 blades.......3 stuck in the dirt and one skipped away a bit after pass thru.
I also shoot 30" and 70# or a tad more on all my set ups so my energy level is not idiciative of the "average" bowhunter.
I would shoot a 2.5" Rage for deer if they made one.
People keep looking for this "Magic Bullet" in broadheads and there is no universal magic bullet. There is howeversomewhere a broadhead that is "perfectly" complimentary of the set up you're shooting and the game your after.
That is whatever head gives you PERSONALLY a pass through shot the vast majority of the time while also taking advantage of the energy output of your bow in the form of cutting diameter.
Just as I see it silly for a youth pulling 50# to be using a Rage 2 blade mechanical........I also see it as being equally silly for a guy pulling 30" with a 70# modern speed bow shooting upwards of 80-90ft lbs of KE and coupling it with asmall diameter fixed blade head. One has no energy to spare.........the other is wasting it in gobs.
