Default Illinois Deer Hunt Gone Bad...

Pike COunty Bucks... with Dan Schipou was the worst hunt I have ever been on... The guy hunts while you are hunting and he killed 2 giants and never tagged them, hauls his hunters around while he has open containers and he is drunk.. Puts his clients on pressured land while he hunts honey holes.. I have so much to tell about him.. Called DNR on him as well as the state police and apparently he is under investigation for unknown other illegal activities.. The guy is like a gypsy.. and constantly lying.. We left early with concerns of his illegal practices... he was trespassing on another outfitters property and wanted me to go after a big buck on there... I told him I was not an outlaw... and I surely wasn't paying to be one... He hunts by Walnut Knob Outfitters (hint, hint) in Pike County... This guy needs to be shut down....

Any ideas anyone how to go forward with suits, complaints, etc.???? Let me know if anyone knows of this guy.. He is a Romanian, not from the US.. He has a nice website www.pikecountybucks.com but don't let that fool you... The worst hunt I ever been on.. Please let everyone knw about this guy..

I don't know what you paid for your hunt, but I am assuming that small claims court is going to be your best route.

I'd have a real hard time with a guide that goes and hunts.

WELL I BELIEVE YOU IF YOU CLICK ON HIS WEBSITE THE FIRST PICTURE SHOWS A GUY AT THE BACK OF A PICK UP TRUCK HOLDING A BIG BUCK. HE IS IN CAMO AND IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE A RIFLE CASE IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK IT IS A CAMO CASE. IF THAT IS A POACHED DEER HE IS A LOSER FOR SURE AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ITS OUTFITTERS LIKE THAT THAT TAKE THE FUN OUT OF THE HUNT.

Actually I think there were 2 others.. The guy is insane.. Me and my buddy both agree we did the right thing by leaving.. Itlooked like an ugly road ahead of us, with the potential to get in trouble in-advertantly... I talked to the game warden again yesterday and there were 3 more complaints since then.. Same activities... The sucky thing is that I have 2 IL tags and archery and gun tag.. unfilled.. i would be willing to come back out this weekend for a good hunt if you know of anyone..
