My 1st. Turkey these season ... (pic)
Finally!; Afther a coule of weeks tring to get some turkeys to respond I finally got My 1st Turkey these season. It has a 10 inches beard!
I got him last saturday at 8:00am, I made the shot at 20 yards with my Mathews Ultra2 @ 60lbs and carbon arrows tiped with SpitFire, Still the bird ran about 80 yards.
I hunt about 30 miles east of Monterrey in the Nort of Mexico.
Here' s the picture.... Hope you like it.

Congratulations. That is a beautiful bird and one heck of an accomplishment especially if you took him with a bow. I am just itchin' for our season to start as well.....another month to go.
