Hey guys, smoked a decent MD 10pt tonight!!! So much for my bad luck???For those who have been around for a few years haveknown I havntkilled a whitetail w/ a bowsince 04 and had many near misses and one lost buck, We'll my luck has officially changed!!! I killed a decent 8 pt in VA last week then headed home to work a few days and sneak out today in MD for a chance. I wasup late lastnight (thanks to football[:@])and since it was a full moonIdecided to hit the woods at930 this morn, I was going to sit till dark, and Isaw5 deer between 11 and 2, this guy came in at3,It was anice double lung at 20 yrds, he went about 75 yrds... He's a youngerdeer (I'm guessing 2.5) and had me fooled because he looked a lot bigger going through the woods (ground shrinkage), he was movin fast and I didnt have time to hesitate, thankfully you can kill 2 bucks in MD, nowI gotta get my 2 does down... I'll try that tomorrow. Even if I had more time I probably would still take him, I have trail cam pics of him and was on the fence becuase he showed great potentialfor growing, but like I said I didnt have time to put thebino's on him and I knew he was just at my min,anyway he'll taste GREAT! And I AM THRILLED to make a great shot on a great buck!
